About the St. Louis Minecraft World

The Gateway Arch is 192 m of stainless steel standing on the Mississippi riverfront, and it is the reason to generate St. Louis — but the city around it is better than people expect. Downtown's grid runs west from the Arch grounds past the Old Courthouse's dome, Busch Stadium and Ballpark Village, the City Museum and Union Station's 1894 hall, and the Eads Bridge's 1874 arches cross the river just north of the Arch. South of downtown, Soulard's 1840s brick rowhouses surround the oldest farmers' market west of the Mississippi and the Anheuser-Busch brewery's red-brick complex; Lafayette Square's painted Victorian houses face their park just west. Forest Park, 7 km west, is larger than Central Park and holds the art museum, the zoo, the science centre and the 1904 World's Fair's lagoon, with Washington University's Gothic campus on its western edge.

What's Included in the St. Louis World

Gateway Arch

Saarinen's 192 m catenary arch in its 91-acre riverfront park, with the Old Courthouse on axis to the west and the Eads Bridge to the north. The arch generates as a tall blocky catenary — thin at the top, wide at the legs.

Busch Stadium

The Cardinals' ballpark on the south edge of downtown with Ballpark Village beside it, a few blocks from the Arch grounds and the Enterprise Center arena.

Forest Park

1,371 acres 7.5 km west: the Saint Louis Art Museum on Art Hill above the Grand Basin, the zoo, the Science Center, the Muny amphitheatre and Washington University's campus at the western edge.

Soulard

The brick rowhouse neighbourhood 3 km south of downtown around the 1779 Soulard Market, with the Anheuser-Busch brewery's complex and its Clydesdale stables on its southern edge.

Plus all streets, buildings, parks, and terrain elevation from OpenStreetMap data — faithfully converted to Minecraft blocks. Available for both Java and Bedrock Edition.

The St. Louis world includes all buildings, roads, parks, and terrain elevation from OpenStreetMap data. Key landmarks like Gateway Arch, Busch Stadium, Forest Park are faithfully recreated block by block.
How do I import the world into Minecraft?
For Java Edition, extract the zip and copy the world folder to your .minecraft/saves/ directory. For Bedrock Edition, double-click the .mcworld file to import automatically.
Do I need any mods to play?
No mods required. The world works with vanilla Minecraft, both Java and Bedrock Edition.
How does the Arch come out in blocks?
Its footprint and 192 m height are in OpenStreetMap, so it generates at full size on the riverfront. The curve is stepped rather than smooth — it is a catenary built from one-metre blocks — but it towers over downtown exactly as the real one does.
