About the Louisville Minecraft World

Louisville faces the Ohio River, and a downtown world here gets water, bridges and a park all at once: Waterfront Park's 85 acres along the river, the Big Four Bridge's 1895 railway span turned pedestrian path across to Indiana, and the Kennedy and Lincoln interstate bridges beside it. Main Street's Whiskey Row has the second-largest collection of cast-iron façades in the country after SoHo, with the Louisville Slugger Museum's 36 m bat leaning against its building and the Yum! Center arena at the river's edge. South of downtown, Old Louisville is the largest Victorian neighbourhood in the United States — 48 blocks of brick and stone houses around Central Park — and beyond it Churchill Downs' twin spires sit in the South End next to the university. To the east, Cherokee Park's 409 acres were laid out by Olmsted along Beargrass Creek, at the end of the Highlands' Bardstown Road strip.
