Minecraft World Map Generator
Map2Minecraft turns a real-world map into a Minecraft world you can download and play. Search any city, town or address, pick a size, frame the area on the map above and press Generate. The world is rebuilt block by block from OpenStreetMap data — buildings at their real footprints and heights, streets, rivers, parks and the shape of the land — at one block per metre. Small areas are ready in under a minute; most worlds take a few minutes.
Every world gets a free 3D preview before you pay anything, so you see exactly what you are getting. Downloading it is a one-time $5–$20, depending on size. There is no subscription unless you want Pro. Worlds come as a Java Edition world folder or a Bedrock .mcworld file and run in vanilla Minecraft — no mods, nothing to install.

Frequently asked questions
Is this Minecraft map generator free?
Generating any area and exploring it in a 3D preview is free, with no signup. Downloading the finished world is a one-time $5 (under 1 km²), $10 (1–5 km²) or $20 (5–25 km²). Bigger than 25 km², or making several? Pro ($39/month or $299/year) gives you worlds up to 100 km² and unlimited generations.
How do I turn a real place into a Minecraft world?
Search for the place, pick a world size, then drag and zoom the map until the area you want fills the frame. Choose Java or Bedrock, press Generate and explore the result in a free 3D preview. When you're happy, download it: a Java world goes in your saves folder, and a Bedrock .mcworld file imports when you open it.
Does it work with Java and Bedrock Edition?
Yes. Java Edition gets a standard world folder (zip) and Bedrock Edition gets a .mcworld file. Both are vanilla worlds: no mods, add-ons or plugins needed.
How big a world can I make?
Anything from a Tiny world (under 250 × 250 m, a street or two) up to 25 km² — a downtown and its neighbourhoods — as a one-time world. Anything bigger is Pro: worlds up to 100 km² and unlimited generations.
Where does the map data come from?
From OpenStreetMap, the free, community-built map of the world: building footprints and heights, roads, water, parks and land use, plus terrain elevation. A place that is well mapped on OpenStreetMap comes out detailed in Minecraft.
